LCAD ANNUAL FUND
The Annual Fund at LCAD provides support for the programs and resources essential for our students’ continued growth and progress. We offer an excellent education to our students and strive to be exceptional every step of the way.

When you support the Annual Fund, you enable LCAD to award more financial aid, to recruit and retain first-rate faculty, to purchase additional library resources, and much more. There are many ways to direct your annual gift, as we list below.

Where Need Is Greatest
A contribution to LCAD that is unrestricted is one of the most valuable gifts you can make. These funds help bridge the gap between the cost of tuition and the actual cost of providing an outstanding education. Funds are designated where need is greatest and are essential to providing support for programming, faculty, and students.

President's Circle
President's Circle membership recognizes tax-deductible, unrestricted donations beginning at $1,000 per twelve months. Contributions provide resources necessary for students to excel, such as financial aid, upgraded technology, library resources, and student services. Members enjoy special insider activities and meet with the president, faculty, and staff to foster and advise on community relations. Higher categories of membership are Silver ($2,500), Gold ($5,000) and Platinum ($10,000 and above).

Scholarships
With the rising costs of education and the inflation of the current economy, 9 out of 10 students at LCAD will rely on some form of financial aid. Contributions directed toward scholarships, then, are one of the most effective ways to impact an aspiring artist’s life. Your annual contribution to the Student Scholarship Fund will enable LCAD to award scholarships to deserving students who have financial need.

New Equipment
Many of LCAD’s traditional studios and digital labs require specialized equipment. You can help turn a creative spark into a tangible work of art by underwriting the cost of this equipment.

Endowed Student Scholarships
Create a lasting legacy by establishing an endowed scholarship at LCAD. Interest income generated annually by the endowment fund will be awarded as student scholarships to support deserving students for generations to come. These named endowed scholarships can be established with your contribution of $25,000 or more.

New Initiatives and Programs
Donors can support individual academic courses or areas of concentration, visiting artists and scholars, lectures, exhibitions, publications, awards, and travel grants as well as new library resources that enable students and faculty to enrich their studies.

IN-KIND GIVING
Each year LCAD receives a number of gifts from individuals, small businesses, and corporations. These gifts take the form of books donated to the library, discounts on materials, pro-bono services, and gifts of equipment such as computers, printers, and cameras. We appreciate these helpful, valuable donations.

MATCHING GIFTS
Many companies will match an employee's contribution, thereby doubling the value of individual gifts. Please let us know if your company provides matching gifts. If you don't know, let us know and we will find out for you.

PLANNED GIVING

Renaissance Legacy
Create a legacy at Laguna College of Art + Design. Estate planning is a wonderful way to accomplish your financial goals while supporting innovative art education programs.

Bequests
Supporters can choose to leave a meaningful legacy in art through a bequest gift. These gifts can offer estate planning advantages while potentially reducing the tax liability of your estate. Even modest gifts can make a significant contribution to the College’s future through estate and financial planning.

Additional Options
Other ways to leave a legacy at LCAD are through a will, a revocable trust, mutual funds, real estate, securities, insurance policies, and retirement plan assets.
